IT Mill has won this year's 'Ride Your Bicycle to Work' Competition series for 21-100 employees!

The competition was held for the 12th time between May 11-18 for the 12th time. It was arranged by Valonia Service Centre for sustainable development and energy in Southwest Finland.

The goal for the competition is that people leave their cars at home and commute bicycling, jogging, walking or rollerskating instead - this is to say, commute for health and saving energy.

In all, 305 different companies, units or departments and 2551 persons participated in the competition this year, their total number of kilometres being 92 030. At IT Mill the kilometres totalled 614,2 and on average each IT Mill employee came to work 3,72 times without a motor-run vehicle during the competition week.
