This winter the Data Communications Software major at Computer Science and Engineering Department at the Helsinki University of Technology TKK is organizing a codecamp event. The codecamp is an intensive course, which focuses on the development of small-scale Open Source applications on a given platform.

IT Mill Toolkit for Web services is the chosen development platform this year. The codecamp will take place on Week 48 starting on November 24th and ending on November 27th.

• The event starts with a one day tutorial to the technology and will be held in English. The tutorial will also include general information on developing rich Web applications and user interface components using server-side technology and is open for everybody.
• Then the actual codecamp starts with two and a half days of intensive programming, the participation is restricted for the students of TKK only.
• Finally, there is the presentation of the results with a great prize for the winner!
